Welcome to the Worthing Yacht Club/ Worthing Sailing Club web site. We'll be keeping it updated with lots of information for members, sailors, windsurfers, kitesurfers and anyone else who wants to find out more about our activities or what is happening in and around West Worthing beach. Worthing Sailing club membership renewal

Jerry has now sent out the forms and letters inviting all members to renew their subscription for 2010. If you have not yet received this, please contact him asap - it is possible that your details have changed or that they were incorrectly logged. It is important therefore that you update your forms when you return your membership fees for the new season - especially mobile numbers and Email addresses which do seem to change during the year but don't always get notified

Commodores welcome back reception - 14th March

the club officially re-opens to play boats on the 14th of March with the traditional welcome back reception hosted by our Commodore. There will be an informal buffet and the bar open from midday. All members are cordially invited and weather permitting we can start to get masts up and bits back on the boats. It's a good day to do it, particularly if you are a bit unsure about your rigging as there will be lots of knowledgeable people to help. Prospective new members are also very welcome to come and have a look round/meet some people and find out about the club

Working party 28th February - many thanks to all

Many thanks to everyone who came along on Sunday to help with getting the club ready for opening on the 14th and especially to Trish who made some lovely vegetable soup and cakes to keep us all fuelled up. It wasn't the best of days weather wise but the club looks and smells beautifully clean and fresh. It was good to see so many people involved and working together which is what it is all about after all.
