Editor for WYC newsleter Mainsheet wanted

Andy Weller did an heroic job as Mainsheet editor for many years. He elected to resign this position a few years ago due to changes in his professional commitments and because he felt he had just ran out of ideas. OVer the last few years various committee members have taken it in turn to produce some very functional, no-frills newsletters but do not feel they have the time or energy to continue this approach.

The club desparately requires a volunteer to organise and coordinate the publication of Mainsheet on an approximately quarterly basis. Would you be interested in this task?

You do not need journalist experience (though a basic grasp of spelling and grammar helps) and you are not expected to write the articles yourself. If you don't have access to a computer, we have one you can use (but how are you reading this I wonder). The committee will give you loads of support and they will contribute to the content regularly.

You will need buckets of energy and enthusiasm to chivvy people up and the organisation skills of the UN to get the thing published. If you are interested, that's good enough for us and you are infinitely well qualified - please contact Anne at the Club (01903 249956) asap.
